Sorry to say good-bye

So far so good on our last day here in Greece. Everyone has been super nice; as an example, we checked out of our hotel in Heraklion (where we got late check-out for no charge), arrived at the airport apparently 25 minutes before there was a gate agent due.  We stood there a minute deciding where we should go to wait, when a young man from Aegean air showed up; he had noticed us standing there, and didn't want us to have to wait, so came and booted up the computer and got us checked in.   After a quick flight to Athens, we got to our Holiday Inn airport hotel and found that the local soccer team was staying there ahead of a match being held tonight.  Wish we had known, so we could have bought tickets!  We are sorry to leave.  Greece has been great, and much easier to navigate than we had expected.
